Today is Pet Pawrent Appreciation Day and that means it’s all about YOU....
I promise I will get up super early to let myself out for a pee and not wake you up. Before I return to the big bed, I will fix my own breakfast and make you a cup of coffee just how you like it. I will neither try the coffee nor make a second breakfast for myself.
On my way back to you, I will not stop to bark at the 📫 lady or to liberate any tissues from the trash can. I will wait patiently for a walk while you get ready and will even let you take a 🚿 all by yourself.
On the walk, I will move at the pace you set and will remain calm no matter how many 🐿️ threaten my dominance. I will greet fellow dogs with a friendly hello and generally make you look like the accomplished, calm, and amazing pawrent that you are.
Upon returning home, I will tidy up my toys and then make you a refreshing cup of your favorite hot tea before curling up next to you and settling in for a lovely nap so that you can do your work in peace. I will be content and composed until it is time for my dinner at which point I shall simply walk to the kitchen and wait patiently by my 🥣 until you're ready.
After dinner, I will watch whatever show you choose and fetch you a glass of 🍷 should you wish. When it’s time for bed, I will bring my lead so we can pop out for a quick bathroom break and will not dawdle by the pee tree on the corner.
Above all, I will spend the day reflecting on how lucky I am to have a pawrent like you, who loves me, and spoils me, and cares for me no matter what. As for tomorrow, well, I will resume my role as TOP DOG, but don’t worry, we’ll do it all again next year!
Sometimes a canine news story is so monumental, so earth-shatteringly huge that it defies rhyme and reason and today, well, today we bring you one such story. 529 days in the making, this tale has it all: a remote Australian island, 2 frantic humans, a 5 day search, and 1 plucky heroine determined to save herself. This is the remarkable story of Valerie the Dachshund.
Earlier this month, we celebrated Pet Parent Appreciation Day by publishing a letter from a pup to her mom, expressing her gratitude and love; well, it seems that this letter spoke to one of the pup parents in our community who penned a response! As Dog Appreciation Month nears its end, we couldn’t think of a better way to honor it than publishing that letter, where the words of one speak for many. Dogs, we love you!
I usually get Reese Rabbit but they were out -Walter was a huge hit with our golden doodle. I would recommend any of the toys and this company highly
✨love ordering our dog toys from them.
