My dog so enjoyed Harry Otter that I got another one. I sort of stockpile Fluff n Tuff toys as my Boston loves them, playing fetch, tug of war and taking it to bed with him. For a decent sized Boston these toys last approx. 2 months before they are destroyed, but a lot of fun for the dog in the interim. He's working on destroying his squirrel recently, then a new Otter - that is a really good toy to toss like a football.
My puppy was SO thrilled to get a new stuffie. Unfortunately like he does to every one I buy him, if there is any thing that sticks out enough he can't get it between his back teeth, it's pretty much severed in a matter of minutes. This guy's foot lasted approximately 6 minutes. 🙁. An awesome toy, the embroidered eyes are great, the squeaker really sounds great. And despite it's destruction, he still loves it. We just have to watch him while he plays so he doesn't get any fluff in his mouth as he removes the hands one at a time. A bonus tho- the sample Crown and Tail treats were a huge hit.
Tennis balls = 3-5 minute chew until useless; frisbees: maybe a day;
Any fluffy toy = forget it, only 1- 10 minutes until gutted (foam and squeeker).
But the F&T Alligator we bought from a shop in Portland, Me on the promise of the shopkeeper that this was "THE" dog toy: still going!!! So we bought the Otter and it is of equal quality and enjoyment to our 80 lb. GR, Henry (age 3). The only fluffy toy brand we will ever buy.
We bought one of these at 3 Dog Bakery in Albuquerque in June. It was Mickey’s favorite toy until he and my son came to visit and our golden doodle tore it up. I was so glad I was able to find another one to send home with him
